A prior consultation before this procedure allows the patient to discuss his motivations with the surgeon.
The day before the session, the patient should shave at home or in a hotel. A red betadine wash will necessarily be carried out the day before and the morning of the operation. Genital herpes outbreaks, penile dermatological conditions or urinary tract infections must be detected and treated before performing the procedure.
An EMLA anaesthetic cream will be applied 30 minutes before the session. For greater comfort, a local anaesthesia can be performed by the doctor. This involves performing two micro injections of xylocaine in the pubic area on each side of the root of the penis.
The injection of hyaluronic acid to enlarge the penis is done with a micro-cannula that is introduced through a microincision, between the skin and the cavernous bodies. The injections are carried out regularly over the entire surface of the penis, avoiding the need to inject the foreskin.
To ensure a significant increase in penis size, between 10 and 20 ml of hyaluronic acid are injected.
The procedure takes 20 to 30 minutes.
The consequences of penoplasty by injection of hyaluronic acid are characterized by slight discomfort.
Swelling (edema) is often observed in the first few days and bruises may appear, as after any injection.
The patient can return to work the same day as well as to sports.
Sexual intercourse is possible after 48 hours.
Preventive antibiotics are systematically prescribed for 5 days.
Some irregularities in the penis may exist and disappear through massages performed by the patient himself.
The result is immediate, even more visible 72 hours later and stabilizes within 10 days.
Contraindications:
• Hyaluronic acid injections are contraindicated in patients with autoimmune diseases or blood clotting problems.
• Patients with erectile dysfunction or who think that penis enlargement will be the solution.
