Circumcision consists in removing the foreskin that covers the glans of the penis.
The foreskin is the circular fold of mobile and sliding skin that covers more or less the glans of the penis in a state of flaccidity and retracts into an erect state.
This act is recommended by WHO (the World Health Organization) to fight AIDS in Africa. We also know that circumcision protects from sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and penis cancer.
It should be noted that there is less cervical cancer among women who have sex with circumcised men.
Circumcision is traditionally performed from 0 to 6 months with local anesthesia and in hospitals from 12 months."

The purpose being to discover the glans and leave it bare, the practitioner begins by removing the sub-preputial adhesions with a stylus.
At the same time, the practitioner locks the foreskin in a small instrument that will at the same time protect the glans and allow a clean cut. Then the practitioner applies a wick to the base of the glans that will ensure hemostasis."

Every 2 to 3 hours after circumcision, for 24 hours, sprinkle with STOP-HEMO and cover with a compress.

About Circumcision

1- Do not give Doliprane to the baby at the same time as EMLA ointment. Combining the two is not recommended for four hours.
2- When the wick is removed, a slight bleeding may occur which is very easily stopped, by gently compressing the area responsible with the fingers, having previously sprinkled with the STOP-HEMO powder and covered the area with a sterile compress.
3- After removing the wick do not try to remove any powder deposits, they will leave with the bath and eosin.
