Description

Quirónsalud Madrid has 54,000 square metres of hospital area in one building in Pozuelo de Alarcón, which combines its practical character with the comfort of patients and relatives.
At Quirónsalud Madrid, care is provided in 39 medical and surgical specialities, making it a general hospital which can respond to all patients’ requirements. Among other things, it has 13 operating theatres; 11 diagnostic imaging rooms; a surgical and oncological day hospital; Pathological Anatomy, Clinical Analysis, Molecular Biology and Genetics laboratories; Sleep and Epilepsy Units; a Blood Bank; two endoscopy rooms; and an Intensive Care Unit for adults and another for paediatric and neonatal care. Added to these facilities, a 24-hour Emergency Department for both children and adults, over 70 external consultation rooms and the technological resources to perform high-complexity surgical interventions in all manner of diseases.

High technology:

The centre has the highest diagnostic and treatment technology: three MRI scanners, one 3 Tesla and two 1.5 Tesla; two CT scanners, one of which is an ultra-low radiation dose scanner; a PET-CT scanner and a SPECT-CT scanner; image guided surgery; Da Vinci surgical system; a NeuroNavigator; and surgery with intraoperative electromyography. Teaching and research:

Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital carries out important teaching and research work. Care and comfort:

The accommodation service is another sign which characterises the care that Quirónsalud Madrid gives to its patients. The centre has 133 external single rooms and 57 suites, all exquisitely and tastefully decorated, ideal for making both the patient and their relatives who accompany them feel at home. The centre has its own kitchen with menus tailored to the needs of the patient and their relatives, personalised waiting rooms and 1,100 parking spaces. All so that the patient’s recovery is as comfortable as possible.

Location

Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital is located at Calle Diego de Velázquez 1 in the town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, about twenty minutes’ drive from Madrid city centre.

By air:

The distance by car from Madrid-Barajas International Airport is 28 kilometres, a distance that can be covered in about 30 minutes.
A taxi ride from the airport to the hospital will take about half an hour and costs approximately fifty euros.
You can also reach our centre using public transport. On the underground system (metro), the journey time is estimated at approximately one hour. A metro ticket costs € 1.50.

By train:

Madrid has two main line railway stations (Renfe) for conventional and high speed (AVE) services:

-Atocha: Located in the centre of Madrid, this is about 20 minutes away from the hospital by car.
-Chamartín: This is located in the northern part of the city. The journey to the hospital takes about 25 minutes by car.
